The Confucius Institute, University of Colombo signed Teaching Spot agreements with University of Peradeniya and Buddhist and Pali University, on 29th <\/sup>November 2021 at the Senate Hall, University of Colombo under the leadership of Acting Vice-Chancellor Senior Prof. Nayani Melegoda, University of Colombo.<\/p>\n

The outstanding collaboration was signed under the participation of Prof. M. D. Lamawansa, Vice-Chancellor, University of Peradeniya, Prof. Neluwe Sumanawansa, Vice-Chancellor, Buddhist and Pali University, Prof. L. Siriniwasa Thero, Dean, Faculty of Language Studies, Buddhist and Pali University and Senior Prof. Nayani Melegoda, Acting Vice-chancellor, University of Colombo. Prof. Rev. Sobitha, Faculty of Arts, Department of History, University of Peradeniya, , Prof. E.M.P.C.S. Ekanayake, Dean, Faculty of Arts, University of Peradeniya, Mr. R. A. Piyaratna, Registrar, Buddhist and Pali University,\u00a0 Professor Wimal Hewamanage, Sri Lankan Director of the Confucius Institute, Prof. Ma Zhongwu, Chinese Director of the Confucius Institute, Mr. K. A. S. Edward, Register, UoC and Ms. K. S. T. S. Jayasooriya, Bursar, UoC and the academic staff members of CIUC were also participated on this event.<\/p>\n

All the parties expressed their satisfaction at the signing of the agreement, with a strong expectation of promoting the Chinese Language and Culture.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
