Wimal Hemawanage &#8211; Director, Sri Lanka and Prof. Vivian Huang \u2013 Director, China donated medical masks and thermometers to Senior Prof. Premakumara de Silva &#8211; \u00a0Dean, Faculty of Arts on 11th May 2020.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 These two batches are donated for staff members of the Faculty of Arts by the Beijing Foreign Study University (one of the Chinese partner universities of CIUOC) and the Bank of China &#8211; Colombo Branch since they support and appreciate the faculty staff coming to the campus to maintain the functions of the university.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Senior Professor Premakumara de Silva highly appreciated this donation as the novel coronavirus pandemic has run rampant worldwide.\u00a0 Solidarity and cooperation are the most powerful weapon against the disease.\u00a0 CIUOC will keep going to work with UOC to fight
