The Colombo Journal for Chinese Studies (CJCS) aims to disseminate cutting-edge research that explores the interrelationship between Chinese Studies and other languages and cultural studies. CJCS scopes related to the Humanities and Social Sciences such as religious studies, languages, arts and crafts, sociology, anthropology, history, philosophy, and psychology. The journal publishes high-standard, original and state-of-the-art articles that may be theoretical or empirical in orientation and advance our understanding of the intricate relationship between language and culture. CJCS is an annual, peer-reviewed, fully open access e-journal published by the Confucius Institute University of Colombo.
