Visit of Prof. Yan Haishang to the Confucius Institute - 1st September

The Confucius Institute at University of Colombo was honored to host a visit from prof. Yan  Haisheng, Police Consular of the Chinese Embassy in Colombo Sri Lanka.

The Consular was greeted by the Senior Professor. Lasantha Manawadu, Dean – Faculty of Arts, Professor Wimal Hewamanage, Director of the Confucius Institute and Mr. P.M.S. Bandara, Deputy Register, Faculty of Arts.

 They had a deep exchange of views on the development of CI and on the ways of promoting friendly cooperation via vocational training programs with the Police Academy and other government institutions for future projects. Senior Professor. Lasantha Manawadu, Dean Faculty of Arts appreciated the endeavors of the leadership of Professor Wimal Hemwamanage and the dedicated staff of CI very importantly.
