Chinese Director of CIUC Seeking Internship Opportunities for Undergraduates with Chinese Proficiency
While nothing replaces real, on-the-job experience work experience and internships are not always easy to find. Knowing this fact very clearly Prof. Ma Zhongwu the Chinese Director of the CIUC initiated searching for internship opportunities for undergraduates with Chinese proficiency. In order to boost the chances of employment he visited several Chinese companies who have been invested in Sri Lanka in various projects such as highway construction, marine trading, landmark project construction and much more.
Number of leading Chinese companies have given their consent for providing internships for our undergraduates specially those who are following the Chinese language stream at the Faculty of Arts. CIUC believes that internships provide students with firsthand experience, professional opportunities and personal growth, especially when working in Chinese companies which are well-known for hard working capacities.
Ms. Chang Xiaojin, the Administrative Assistant of the CIUC also accompanied with the director for those visits.
